Many of the country’s leading garden centres belong to the Garden Centre Association and we are extremely proud to be one of them. To be accepted as an approved member, a high level of good business practice must be achieved. And to ensure these high standards are maintained, each garden centre is inspected annually. We were inspected back in April and on 17^th July we attended the East Region Awards Evening where we picked up a fair few awards. The highlight of the evening was to be awarded Garden Centre of the Year for our garden centre category in the East region. We are absolutely delighted to have also won awards for:-

• Best Customer Service
• Best Outdoor Living Retailer
• Best Garden Centre Restaurant
• Best Garden Products Retailer
• Best Indoor Lifestyle Retailer

Our new food hall got us 2^nd place in the Food Hall/Farm Shop category and our Plant area also got 2^nd place in the Ruxley Rose competition, putting us through to the autumn stage of the competition, of which we will find out the results in January 2026.

Massive congratulations and well done to our whole team who have worked tirelessly to ensure the garden centre is always looking its very best. It is an absolute honour to win all of the awards but to win the Best Customer Service award is extra special because if we didn’t have our customers, then none of this would be possible. We know we have the best team and the best customers and to have an award to prove it is just the cherry on the icing on the cake. Well done everyone!
