Our brand new children’s outdoor activity area has been designed with pre-school age children in mind & is the perfect place for mums, dads, nans and granddads to meet up for a well deserved cuppa. They can then sit back and relax whilst keeping a watchful eye as the little ones play in the giant sandpit, have a noughts & crosses battle or see who can score the highest in a game of bean bag toss! There’s also a chalk board where budding young artists can create their masterpiece! Or will you be the captain of the ship as you climb aboard the pirate deck?
Wooden tables, picnic benches and comfy plastic Arondeck armchairs means there is plenty of seating plus there are cushions and picnic blankets for customers to use too.
On hot summer days, well needed shade is provided by parasols and a shade sail over the sandpit. And should you get caught out by our wonderfully unpredictable British weather, we have bottles of Nivea Factor 30 sun cream available to purchase from the deli bar.
As you can see from our Gallery, it’s already a real hit with our customers!
Craft & Play Sessions – Saturdays 10am-11am
Why not pop along to the Restaurant@Poplars and join in a Café Craft session for children aged 1-12 years. There are lots of fun activities to choose from so while the kids are busy getting crafty, you can sit back and have a crafty cuppa yourself! Sessions cost just £3.50 per child and this includes all the materials and tools needed and an end of play snack to decorate. Sessions run from 10am-11am so to book your child a place, contact Hannah at email@example.com or follow her on Facebook at craftandplaytoday. Look out for activities during the school holidays too!
