FREE Car Park

Our 300 space car park is free for our customers to use.  There are wider spaces dedicated for parent & child parking and located nearer the entrance, we have more accessible spaces for less mobile customers.

EV Charging Units

We now have four electric charging points in our carpark for our customers with electric cars to use. These can be found just beside The Car Buying Shop’s yellow cabin. There are clear operating instructions displayed on both charging points.

The operating platform we are using for our chargers is Fuuse so you will need to download the Fuuse app on your smartphone and create an account. Then just follow the instructions and get charging.

Wheelchair Use & Accessibility

Wheelchairs are available for our customers to use.  These are available on a first come first served basis and therefore cannot be booked. To avoid disappointment, we suggest that where possible, wheelchair owners should bring their own.

Our centre is fully wheelchair accessible throughout with wide aisles and a ramp for access to our lower seasonal building. We have special trolley attachments, designed to fit most standard wheelchairs. Please ask a member of our team if you need any assistance with fitting these attachments.

Toilets & Baby Change

Our toilet facilities are located next to our restaurant.  There is a baby change room which is large enough for parents and small children.  We have complimentary nappies, wipes and nappy bags available should you need them.  Please ask at the Information Desk if you require any of these.

As well as the above, we have a spacious toilet for customers who require a more accessible facility. To keep this facility clean and in constant working order for those customers who need the additional space, we have installed a coded key pad. The present code is C2244. This code can also be obtained from our Information Desk or by scanning the QR code displayed on the door of the facility.

Carry To Car Service

We are always readily available to assist you in getting your purchases safely to your car. Please ask a member of staff should you need any help. Likewise, if you need help carrying your intended purchases to the tills in the garden centre or carrying your tray to your table in the restaurant, our friendly staff are only too happy to help.

Carrier Bag Charge

There is now a 10p bag charge. Our carrier bags are bio-degradable so are kind to the environment. Each quarter, all the money made from the sale of our carrier bags is spent on food for our local food bank.

Delivery Service

Poplars offers a local delivery service within 10 miles of Toddington or further by arrangement. There is a charge per delivery but once you have paid this you can put what you want onto the van (Subject to space and weight).

To ensure the safety of our drivers, all deliveries must be paid for prior to delivery.

We do not have a specific day for a set area; we try to be as flexible as possible and fit in with our customer needs

Whether you are new to gardening or a green-fingered fanatic, we have our horticultural experts on hand to give you all the help, advice & information you may need. So whether you need to know what to plant where or where to plant what, from larger garden projects to small outside spaces, our helpful and friendly staff are always happy to help.
