You may remember we had a wish pond in our Teddy Bear’s Picnic Christmas display and we were raising money for Greenfingers, a charity very close to our heart. Greenfingers is a national charity dedicated to creating magical and inspiring gardens for life-limited children and their families who spend time in hospices. A Greenfingers garden can be many things – an area for play, exploration, therapy, reflection, relaxation but often it is quite simply a space where the children and their families, friends and carers can spend quality time together in a safe and protective environment.

We are absolutely delighted to be able to let you know that over £1,700 was collected from our very generous customers. Thank you all so very much. We hope all the wishes made do come true! This amount, plus money from other donations means we can proudly give Greenfingers a whopping £2,500!

Our staff also donned their finest festive knits on Christmas Jumper Day and raised £78. Poplars are going to round this amount up to £100 which will go to Save the Children.
